Who is the Course for ?
The 3-day **First Aid at Work** (FAW) course is designed for individuals who will be responsible for first aid in **higher-risk workplaces**. This includes industries such as construction, manufacturing, warehouses, and any business where there are more than 50 employees or significant health and safety risks. It's ideal for those in environments where accidents or medical emergencies are more likely, such as those involving machinery, hazardous materials, or physical labor.
The course meets **Health and Safety Executive (HSE)** requirements as set out in the **Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981**, ensuring compliance with UK workplace safety laws. It equips first aiders with the skills to handle a wide range of emergencies including severe bleeding, shock, burns, and CPR, among others.
It’s recommended for managers, safety officers, or employees who work in environments where the risk of injury is higher, and who need comprehensive training to deal with these risks effectively.
